Eric Maurice Charles Funk was born and raised just outside of Boston, MA. With a passion for art and sports, he is working to grow as a person (not physically as he's already quite tall) and as an artist. He is lucky enough to have a very talented mother who taught him everything he knows and she continues to school him in the world of art. You can find her work here.
In the spring of 2012 Eric graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) in Boston, MA with a degree in animation. While there he spent a semester studying at the University for the Creative Arts in England. His film "MicMac Lane" was the culmination of his college career and the beginning of his professional one. It's a combination of his two loves, art and sports, and continues to be screened worldwide in addition to being featured on ESPN.com and MassArt's alumni page here.
He is currently working as the Motion Graphics Artist at Hill Holliday in Boston. He has worked on clients such as Dunkin' Donuts, LG, Bank of America, Massachusetts State Lottery, Samsonite, Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism and many more.
Eric also does freelance work and his past clients include WB Records, iHigh Marketing, ESPN, and Forsake Footwear.
Please feel free to contact him with any suggestions, questions, comments, compliments, jobs, complaints, anecdotes, inspirational quotes, or where to find the best burger.
