Forsake Footwear is a company that creates shoes that are rugged enough to hike in but also look nice when you want to impress. My friend and I decided to take this and visually showcase the versatility of the shoes.
The 2016 Rio Olympics have been full of scandal, disease, corruption and just over all poor planning. What should be a celebration of athletic prowess is being overshadowed by rivers full of human waste, zika disease and crime just to name a few.

I had originally done this illustration in 2015 but decided I didn't like where it was at. The pose and composition worked, but the overall energy and style wasn't there. Recently I went back into it and tried to remedy those shortcomings.
